Tela only ships its flat panel icons at fixed 16/22/24 - on a fractionally scaled monitor waybar requests size*2 (e.g. 44), which falls through to scalable/devices, whose icons are colored circles (the blue nm-applet blob). This theme is searched first and serves the panel SVGs as scalable, so status icons stay flat; everything else inherits Tela unchanged. Pinned via $ICON_THEME in gui/.config/hypr/hyde.conf.
